bladderwrack

Bladderwrack is a brown seaweed found along the coasts of the North Sea, Atlantic, and Baltic Oceans. It’s one of the oldest recorded medicinal seaweeds and is still used in herbal medicine and nutrition today.

Historically used to treat goiter (enlarged thyroid) because it’s naturally rich in iodine, a key mineral for thyroid hormone production. Traditionally applied for arthritis and rheumatism (internally or as seaweed baths).
